Deck Tech Sportfishing Charters of Miami
Our Captain
Captain Bruce has fished the local waters of Miami, the Florida Keysand the Bahamas, for over 30 years. Captain Bruce began fishing at age 13 at the original Pier 5 MiamiMarina. Through the years, Captain Bruce continued his career on local charterboats as well as many private sportfishing vessels. Captain Bruce now provides affordable, light tackle, off shore fishing and deep sea fishing charters on the waters off Miami, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. As a Master Captain licensed to 100 tons by the U.S. Coast Guard, Captain Bruce provides professional Captain Services aboard private vessels for pleasure cruises, fishing excursions, sea trials and deliveries.

Our Boat
Our boat is a tournament rigged 2006 22' PangaMarine Marquesas with a 140hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard.She is also loaded with a second station tower with dual controls.
Our custom fishing equipment consists of Alutecnos, Daiwa, and Penn spinning and conventional reels on Shakesphere custom graphite rods from 8 to 80lb. class, loaded with genuine BullBuster monofilament. We are also very proud with our new affiliation with Roatan Lures.
Deck Tech Fishing Report
This month has started with windy conditions and cooler weather. Several cold fronts have passed and the fish are biting. Sailfish are at the top of the list with kites and live bait being the best technique. Dolphin, Kingfish, and Sharks have also been biting off the kites.There has been some success with Dolphin from schoolies to some nice ones in the 20-25lb. range.trolling Ballyhoo out to 500ft. Wahoo are also biting with high-speed trolling or drifting with big live baits are the best tickets to success. Bottom fishing has been fair with several Muttons and Groupers have been the norm. We specialize in light tackle sportfishing for offshore and reef species such as sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo, tuna,and cobia as well as many other local species. We employ live bait fishing, kitefishing, trolling, drifting, and bottom fishing.
We can arrange any excursion that suits your needs.

We also provide custom captain and or mate service on your boat. We are licensed by the United States Coast Guard as a 100 ton Master Captain.We are available for private excursions as well as tournament fishing, deliveries and sea trials.
